Jordan Riley - Undergoing shoulder surgeryRiley will undergo shoulder surgery soon and will be out indefinitely, Bobby Bancroft of SB Nation reports.
ImpactThere is a chance that Riley may opt to redshirt, as he had played a very limited role when healthy this season anyways. There should be another update in the coming weeks on Riley's recovery.

Kobe Clark - Dealing with hamstring issueCoach Patrick Ewing said that Clark is still dealing with a hamstring injury, Bobby Bancroft of SB Nation reports.
ImpactClark has only played one minute this season. That came back on Nov. 25 against San Diego State. The team opted to shut him down for a little while longer. It's unclear when he might be able to contribute.

Tyler Beard - Posts 23 for short-handed HoyasBeard ended Wednesday's 85-73 victory over Howard with 23 points (7-9 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 6-10 FT), four rebounds, two assists and one steal in 30 minutes.
ImpactIt's not a stretch to say this performance came out of nowhere for Beard, as the freshman had just two total points in the last six games leading up to Wednesday's matchup. The Hoyas were down leading scorer Kaiden Rice due to a non-COVID illness, however, which opened the door for Beard to step up. It may be a stretch to say he's on the verge of fantasy relevance, but the breakout performance could very well earn him more minutes moving forward.

Jalin Billingsley - Sits due to illnessBillingsley did not take the court in Wednesday's 85-73 victory over Howard due to a non-COVID illness, Patrick Stevens of the Washington Post reports.
ImpactBillingsley has had a tough time seeing steady action for the Hoyas, as he was held scoreless in four of his last five contests leading up to Wednesday. He ended up sitting alongside teammate Kaiden Rice, and it's unclear what the duo's availability might look like leading up to Saturday's tilt with TCU.

Kaiden Rice - DNP due to illnessRice did not play in Wednesday's 85-73 victory over Howard due to a non-COVID illness, Patrick Stevens of the Washington Post reports.
ImpactRice is the Hoyas' leading scorer at 14.6 ppg, but he was forced to miss his first game of the season alongside teammate Jalin Billingsley. Collin Holloway stepped into the starting five in Rice's stead and put up 15 points, but it was freshman Tyler Beard who surprised most with a team-high 23 points off the bench.
