Former SU player Howard Washington opts out at South Alabama Howard Washington transferred from Syracuse to South Alabama this past summer.
Heading to South Alabama Washington is transferring to South Alabama, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.
Impact Washington entered the transfer portal back in March and is now officially set to continue his career elsewhere after spending the last three years at Syracuse. The guard averaged 1.2 points in 7.5 minutes last season for the Orange, and he'll need to be granted a waiver in order to play in 2020 for South Alabama.
