Impact Boyd has appeared in 90 career games for George Mason, though his last time officially in uniform was in the 2018-19 campaign. He took a medical redshirt the following year and has spent the entirety of this season on a personal leave of absence. It now appears he'll look to switch schools with the hopes of becoming eligible at a new destination in for the 2021-22 season.
