Season-high 16 points off bench Martinez posted 16 points (5-7 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 5-5 FT), five rebounds and one assist across 19 minutes in Thursday's 76-75 win over California.
Impact Martinez has seen sporadic minutes this season but with starting point guard Rylan Jones out with an injury, playing time opened up for Martinez. He took advantage with only two missed shots while going perfect from the line en route to a season-high 16 points. Martinez has been efficient from inside-the-arc this season at 55 percent shooting.

Impact Martinez was the lone Utah player to reach double-digits, with the team struggling to just 28 percent shooting. The freshman from Costa Rica logged a season-high in both minutes and points. After a slow start to the season, Martinez has shot much better as of late and may be in line for an increased role going forward.
