ImpactMurray jumped right back into his high-volume shooting ways in his return from a four-game absence due to a foot injury, but it wasn't enough for the Hawkeyes to stave off an embarrassing defeat to a Nebraska team likely to be bottom dwellers in the conference. Murray simply didn't get much help here, as Felip Rebraca was the only other Iowa player in double figures, while the remaining three starters went 2-for-19 from the field. The Hawkeyes will next head to Penn State on New Year's Day in hopes of snapping a two-game losing streak.

ImpactDawson had missed the last two games due to injury and was able to get some time on the floor with the Huskers leading big a majority of the way. The 6-6 freshman has played over 10 minutes just once over his last six games after averaging 17.2 through the first five games of the year. His role seems to have been reduced and it's unclear if he'll return to the same usage he once had unless some injuries pop up.
