Kris Murray - Excelling early in seasonMurray had 29 points (10-20 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 6-6 FT), 11 rebounds, one assist and one block in 37 minutes during Wednesday's 83-67 victory over Seton Hall.
ImpactMurray played for over 30 minutes for the first time in three games and paid off his coach's trust with another dominant performance. The Hawkeyes are not short of players capable of scoring in double-digits but if Murray keeps his minutes around 30 per game after starting just once last season, he has the potential to be one of the better scorers in the Big 10 and country.
