Impact Jones, a senior, received his first start for the 2022-23 Hawkeyes to honor their graduating students. During tournament action, he is expected to be a substitute again. Jones averaged 5.7 points and 3.7 rebounds across the 2022-23 Hawkeyes' regular season. Those rates were far less than those of Osun Osunniyi, who is expected to the Hawkeyes' starting center during tournament action.

Iowa State now sits 8-8 in Big 12 play after losing six of its last eight conference games, which has been due in large part to the team's lack of consistent scoring over that span. Lipsey will look to maintain his effectiveness on the defensive end while also making more significant offensive contributions Monday versus West Virginia.

However, the 6-foot-4 shooting guard's efficiency still has yet to improve, as he's converted just 28.2 percent of his 13.0 field-goal tries per game over the last three games. Kalscheur isn't likely to be a worthwhile fantasy consideration over the Cyclones' final three regular-season games unless his field-goal efficiency significantly improves moving forward.

Osun Osunniyi - Plays 14 minutes in loss Osunniyi notched six points (3-5 FG), one rebound and one block across 14 minutes during Saturday's 61-50 loss to Oklahoma.

Impact Osunniyi saw his least extensive playing time since Iowa State lost 84-50 to Texas Tech on Jan. 10. The 6-foot-10 center has stepped up into a larger role as the Cyclones' starting center since that loss, averaging 9.8 points and 5.3 rebounds while playing 22.8 minutes per game across the 12 contests leading into Saturday. Osunniyi has shot 62.8 percent from the field over that span, but he's putting up just 6.5 field-goal attempts per game. This will significantly limit his ceiling as a scorer across Iowa State's final three regular-season games.
