Baylor, Kansas to decide Big 12 title in 2 games Saturday

Third-ranked Baylor has gone on a late-season charge to forge a tie atop the Big 12 heading into its regular-season finale against Iowa State on Saturday night

Tyrese Hunter - Solid outing in loss Hunter closed with 12 points (5-15 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 0-1 FT), two rebounds, three assists, one block and three steals across 37 minutes during Wednesday's 53-36 loss to Oklahoma State.

Impact Hunter had a decent game, but Iowa State struggled as a whole on the offensive end. Hunter has made a strong bid for Big 12 Freshman of the Year with his play as of late. Over the last five games, Hunter is putting up 12.8 points, 6.4 assists, 4.2 rebounds, 2.0 steals, and 1.4 three-pointers per contest. Iowa State closes out the regular season against Baylor on Saturday.

Izaiah Brockington - 13 points in loss Brockington provided 13 points (5-17 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 3-5 FT), three rebounds, one assist, two blocks and three steals over 39 minutes during Wednesday's 53-36 loss to Oklahoma State.

Impact Iowa State really struggled to get anything going offensively in this one. Brockington tried his best, but the shots just weren't falling. The Penn State transfer is averaging 22.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2.0 three-pointers, and 1.8 steals per game over the last six. He will look to carry the Cyclones as far as he can in March.

Tristan Enaruna - Sits out Wednesday Enaruna did not take the court in Wednesday's 53-36 loss to Oklahoma State.

Impact Enaruna started the first 24 games of the season for the Cyclones, averaging 5.4 points and 3.7 rebounds over that span. Something then happened Feb. 12, when Enaruna was held out due to undisclosed reasons. Since then, he came off the bench in four consecutive games, but had steadily seen his playing time decrease. That culminated in a season-low three minutes last Saturday before sitting out entirely the following game, with no lingering reports of an injury available. It's difficult to predict what happened here or when Enaruna might get back in the rotation, but he shouldn't be considered a safe player to rely on in any format down the stretch.
