ImpactWilson logged his eighth double-double this season and his second through five Big 12 games. He also grabbed all of his team-high 11 rebounds on the defensive glass. Wilson has continued to put up consistent double-digit scoring performances while taking 16.6 field-goal attempts this season, though he's continually struggled with his efficiency, converting just 40.4 percent over 17 starts. Nevertheless, Wilson is still one of the Big 12's leading scorers, and his prominent should to net him double-doubles moving forward.

ImpactKalscheur has been on a scoring tear since stepping back up into a starting role over six of the last seven games. Over this span, the fifth-year guard has averaged 17.3 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 2.0 steals while playing 35.6 minutes per game. He's also converting 51.7 percent of his 12.4 field-goal attempts as well as 45.5 percent of his 6.3 tries from beyond the arc. Kalscheur has always provided consistent production on the defensive end, though he's now averaged a career-high 12.5 points this season as a result of his increased role. It's unlikely Kalscheur will be able to maintain this jump-up in efficiency, though he may need to in order for Iowa State to come away with a win against Texas on Tuesday.
