ImpactN'Guessan posted a career-high 16 rebounds to go along with 11 points for his third double-double of the season. Among his 16 rebounds were seven on the offensive glass, which were as many as Iowa State collected as a team. N'Guessan had a solid close to the regular season, averaging 29.4 minutes, 9.9 points and 7.1 rebounds over the final seven games.

ImpactCarter's 21 points came on the heels of a three-point outing on Tuesday against Kansas and were the most he's scored since posting 23 points in the team's second conference game on Jan. 9. Carter also contributed five boards, three assists and three thefts during Saturday's huge victory. Kansas State is a long shot at best to make it back to the NCAA tournament, where they made an Elite Eight run last season, but if they are to go on a run in the Big 12 tournament next week, Carter will be relied upon to play a major role.

ImpactKaluma provided a huge effort on a day that was a must win for the Wildcats. The junior forward shot 66.7% from the field on 12 shots, converted on two of three from downtown and even matched a season-high with three steals while topping 20 points for the third time in conference play. The Wildcats probably need to win the Big 12 tournament to earn their way back into the NCAA tournament, where they made an Elite Eight run last year, and Kaluma will be relied upon to be one of the biggest contributors in pursuit of the improbable. He ends the regular season with averages of 14.8 points and 7.1 rebounds over 34.6 minutes per contest.
