ImpactGrill didn't log his best shooting performance of the season, though he racked up double-digit boards for just the second time this season. As a result, the 6-foot-3 shooting guard notched his first double-double of the 2022-23 campaign. Grill has still also averaged 15.3 points while converting 46.9 percent of his 10.7 field-goal attempts per game over the last three outings. 8.7 of these shots have come from beyond the three-point line, making Grill a high-upside yet high-variance fantasy option.

Emmitt Matthews - Logs season high in pointsMatthews totaled 20 points (7-10 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 5-6 FT), five rebounds, one assist and one steal in 29 minutes during Wednesday's 76-71 victory over Iowa State.
ImpactMatthews couldn't be slowed down while facing the Cyclones' typically tough defense. The 6-foot-7 senior matched his season high for free-throw tries while also posting his best final shooting stat line of the 2022-23 campaign. Matthews has largely been a supplementary scorer for the Mountaineers with 9.6 points per game this season, and he finished with six or fewer points in four of the five games prior to Wednesday's win. Matthews will run into another difficult challenge when West Virginia takes on Texas in a road matchup Saturday.
