Impresses in heartbreaking loss Stevens amassed 23 points (9-15 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 3-3 FT), five rebounds, six assists and two steals over 36 minutes during Tuesday's 77-74 loss to Nevada.
Impact Colorado State continues to struggle as a team, having lost four of its last five games, but Stevens has not slowed down one bit, posting a team-leading 23 points and six assists during Tuesday's loss. The senior guard has continued to be one of the most impressive passers in all of college basketball (7.3 assists per game, which ranks fourth in the country), and his scoring averages have gone up to 18 points per game during the Rams' five-game skid. Expect Stevens to keep performing at a high level as Colorado State tries to get back on track Saturday against Wyoming.

Impact Despite his shooting struggles vs. the Spartans, Stevens was still able to make his mark on Friday's affair, leading the game with 11 assists. The 6-foot senior was announced as one of the 10 finalists for the Bob Cousy Award (top point guard in college basketball) after averaging 16.3 points, 7.5 assists and 3.0 rebounds per game across 24 contests.
