Misses practice with knee soreness Shelstad (knee) missed Tuesday's practice but has a good chance to be ready for Monday's season opener versus Georgia, James Crepea of The Oregonian reports.
Impact Shelstad did not participate in Tuesday's practice due to "a little knee soreness" but head coach Dana Altman said he will be evaluated further on Wednesday or Thursday and is optimistic about his chances to be back on the court this week. The freshman who was a four-star recruit out of West Linn, Oregon, will likely serve as Keeshawn Barthelemy's backup at point guard to start the season.
