Leading scorer in defeat Shackelford posted 19 points (6-17 FG, 4-10 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 10 rebounds and one assist in 31 minutes during Thursday's 72-68 loss to Iona. Impact Shackelford was one bright spot despite the surprise upset loss, as he led the Tide in scoring, plus served as the leading rebounder while operating primarily out of the shooting guard spot. It was his second double-double of the season, but what's arguably been more impressive is his consistent shot volume. He's attempted 15 or more field goals in each game this season and has yet to tally under 17 points. His three-point shooting has also improved, as he's on pace for a career-best 36.7 percent while making three or more treys in each contest.
