Moving on from Mount St. Mary's Gibbs placed his name in the NCAA's transfer portal Monday and is set to leave Mount St. Mary's as a graduate transfer, Jeff Borzello of ESPN.com reports. Impact The senior guard appeared in four of the Mountaineers' first five games before opting out of the season, averaging 16.5 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.8 treys, 1.8 assists and 1.3 steals in 35.3 minutes per contest while shooting 42.2 percent from the floor. Gibbs played 30-plus games in each of the previous three seasons, so his decision to enter the transfer portal implies that he anticipates the NCAA granting all players blanket waivers for the pandemic-affected 2020-21 season. Assuming that's the case, Gibbs will be able to compete right away at his next school in 2021-22 for his fifth and final year of eligibility.
