Steps up with Bacot out Washington provided 13 points (5-11 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 3-6 FT), six rebounds and one block in 27 minutes during Tuesday's 65-58 loss to Virginia. Impact Washington struggled with a knee injury early in his freshman season and missed the first nine games as a result. He was then limited to six minutes or less over his next seven games, sitting out two entirely. His number was called Tuesday, however, as star center Armando Bacot went down with an ankle injury after just one minute of play. While X-rays on Bacot's ankle came back negative, Washington still appears to be in line to serve as the primary center for as long as Bacot is sidelined, presumably starting with Saturday's matchup against Louisville.
