Impact Davis opened the season as a bench player, even going scoreless for a five-game stretch that started in late-November. He made his way into the starting five on Dec. 10 in favor of Jordan Derkeck and has stayed there for the six games since. The scoring picked up only recently, with the sophomore putting up nine or more points in three consecutive games. He's also contributed defensively, recording nine steals in his last four contests. Some of the shot volume increase can be attributed to the absence of Dylan Harper, who recently missed a game due to illness and was greatly limited Monday because of the same ailment.
