Impact Sanders missed a few days with a minor ankle issue, but swiftly returned to action ahead of the 2023-24 season. The 6-foot-4 sophomore averaged 2.3 points and 1.1 rebounds on nine minutes per game in 2022 (22 games), but he should see an increased role with the Pirates this season.

Impact Fortunately for Sanders, he did not sit out any games because of the lower-body injury. The freshman is expected to continue being a backup. Sanders averaged 10.9 minutes in between Nov. 9 and Dec. 17.
