Impact Bynum recorded his second-highest point total of the season with a season-high 11 attempts from the floor. The junior made the final Friar bucket from the floor with under a minute to go and stayed aggressive, extending the lead throughout the game to secure his team the win. He was one of five Providence players to record double-digit points on the night.

Impact Bynum was deemed a game-time decision but appears to be on a path toward seeing his first action since Nov. 27 against St. Petersburg, when he departed after just seven minutes. It's possible he will be limited to a bench role even if he does take the floor given his extended layoff.

Impact Bynum began last season as the starting point guard, but missed time with a groin injury and came off the bench upon his return. He started this scrimmage alongside Indiana transfer Al Durham in the backcourt, and both players collected identical numbers in both points and assists (although Bynum was a bit more efficient). Collectively, the duo combines to make perhaps one of the more underrated backcourts in the Big East.

Impact Bynum missed nine games due to a nagging groin injury and was finally able to return to the court Saturday. The 5-10 sophomore started the first 11 games of the season before getting injured, however, he appears to be still getting up to speed and could remain on a minutes restriction for a little longer.
