Impact Green got the start in this one over Mason Miller at power forward alongside Ryan Kalkbrenner. Green did not start a game last year as a freshman, but the team seems to have been happy with the progress he made over the offseason, even if that didn't pan out in this exhibition game. Both Green and Miller need to watch out for Jackson McAndrew, however, who is one of the highest recruits in school history and outscored and outrebounded both Green and Miller combined in less minutes.

Impact Green was expected to be out three-to-four weeks. He did not even need the three before logging his collegiate debut Wednesday. Green will try to establish himself as a promising part of Creighton's relatively experienced rotation, which still has some room at power forward at the very least.

Impact Green suffered a hand injury recently getting ready for the 2023-24 season after redshirting last season. It's unclear if he would ever be able to crack the rotation, but this certainly won't help those chances.
