Cleared to play Freeman-Liberty was granted a waiver from the NCAA on Wednesday and will be immediately eligible to play during the 2020-21 season, Jeff Goodman of WatchStadium.com reports. Impact Freeman-Liberty transferred from Valparaiso to DePaul in May, and he'll be immediately eligible to play as the NCAA continues to grant plenty of waivers to transfers this year. The junior considered entering the 2020 NBA Draft, but he ultimately elected to remain in the collegiate ranks for at least one more season with DePaul. The 6-4 guard started every game for Valparaiso last year, averaging 19.0 points, 6.1 rebounds and 3.2 assists over 33.2 minutes per contest. He should play a prominent role for DePaul now that he's been deemed eligible.
