Impact Butz finally stepped on the court for the first time since Jan. 27, but his impact was limited once again. He hasn't started a game since Nov. 19 and has played more than 15 minutes just once since that date, so he's not going to have a lot of upside even if he's healthy down the stretch.

He did attempt his second three-point shot of the season Tuesday but has still yet to make one in his college career. He's also a liability at the free-throw line, making just 42.9 percent of his attempts on the young season.

Impact Butz played only 11 minutes against Memphis because of the soreness and will sit out a game the Hilltoppers should be able to handle without him for extra rest. His next opportunity to don the uniform arrives Saturday against Tennessee-Martin.

Butz started every game last season for DePaul, but he will be looking for a new place to finish out his collegiate career. Impact It was reported in mid-November that Butz would miss the start of the season, but details were sparse at the time. DePaul has since seen four games cancelled to begin the year prior to Wednesday's matchup against Western Illinois, and Butz was unavailable to take the court for that contest.
