Impact Fears went up against a stifling Texas A&M defense in this one, was was held without a bucket for the first time this season. It was only the second time this year he had been held to single-digit scoring, so chalk this one up as an off night for Oklahoma's second-leading scorer (15.9 ppg). Next up for the Sooners is a home matchup against Vanderbilt on Saturday.

Impact Fears dropped 19 points against Central Arkansas, which wasn't quite the 30 he scored against Michigan but still plenty to help the Sooners blow out Central Arkansas. Fears has been a revelation as a freshman, averaging 18.0 points, 3.4 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 2.2 steals. He's as valuable as anyone is to Oklahoma with SEC play around the corner.

Impact Fears has been excellent since Oklahoma promoted him to the starting five. In the seven games he's started, Fears averages 17.9 points, 3.6 rebounds and 5.1 assists while shooting 48.7 percent from the field. The guard has been cold from three point land the past four games (shooting just 20.0 percent) but he's still finding ways to score and impact the Sooners at every level.

Impact Fears is getting a look in the starting lineup in just his fourth collegiate game after starting out the season with three straight games scoring in double figures. He'll replace Glenn Taylor in the starting five who had been filling in for the injured Brycen Goodine (ankle). Look for Fears to continue to get extended minutes while Goodine remains sidelined.
