Impact Roach entered Tuesday's contest having contributed just five assists through two games but posted a season-high eight assists while also joining six other Bears in double-figures on 55.6% shooting. The senior point guard who joined Baylor from the transfer portal during the offseason moved on from Duke after spending four seasons with the Blue Devils and was brought to Waco to serve as the primary ball handler. Roach matched a career high by averaging 3.2 assists with Duke last season but considering his role on this year's Baylor team, it's fair to expect that number rise.
