Damari Monsanto - Excellent game off bench FridayMonsanto registered 14 points (5-10 FG, 4-7 3Pt), five rebounds and two blocks over 20 minutes during Friday's 75-63 victory over La Salle.
ImpactMonsanto went scoreless in his first two games of the season and hadn't logged more than 15 minutes in any of his first three outings, but he reached the 20-minute mark here and responded by delivering an excellent performance. Given his little involvement in prior games, though, this might have been nothing more than a case of him having a hot hand rather than a prediction of his role for future games.

Tyree Appleby - Shines offensively once againAppleby had 23 points (8-14 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 5-5 FT), three rebounds, four assists and four steals in 37 minutes during Friday's 75-63 win over La Salle.
ImpactAppleby has been one of Wake Forest's best players this season and the numbers back that up, as he's now scored at least 22 points in three games in a row. Given how hot he's been as a scorer, his role as one of the team's go-to guys shouldn't be under any threat.
