Impact James played a season-high 33 minutes while matching a season high with 19 points. The noteworthy development continues to be that James is maintaining his starting role over Day Day Thomas, who did see a season-high 22 minutes off the bench in his fourth game back with the team. James has earned his spot, posting double-figure scoring totals in each of Cincinnati's first seven games while shooting 51.8 percent from the floor and contributing 5.6 assists (3.29 assist-to-turnover rate), 4.3 rebounds and 1.3 steals across 27.3 minutes per contest.

Continues to excel as starter James racked up 14 points (7-13 FG, 0-5 3Pt), two rebounds, seven assists, one block and two steals in 29 minutes during Saturday's 81-58 victory over Georgia Tech.

Impact James scored 14 points despite not connecting on a three-pointer for the first time this season. He also dished out seven assists while committing only one turnover, marking the third time in five games he's posted six or more assists while turning the ball over two or fewer times. James continues to hold onto the starting spot with Day Day Thomas coming off the bench as the latter ramps back up following missing the first three games this season due to a foot injury. However, even when Thomas is back up to full strength, it's tough to see how he can surpass James in the starting lineup. James has been fantastic this season, posting 14.0 points (53.4 percent), 5.8 assists, 3.6 rebounds and 1.4 steals across 27.2 minutes and perhaps most importantly has turned the ball over just 1.8 times per game, giving him an assist:turnover ratio of better than 3:1.
