Impact Although Hauser bruised his knee Friday, he'll be in the starting five for the Spartans once again Sunday. The team could monitor his usage based on how his knee responds, but it's encouraging to see him as a starter against Western Michigan.

Impact Hauser was banged up during the first half of Friday's contest, and coach Tom Izzo said that he had some trouble moving around later in the game. While Hauser played during the second half, he wasn't used late in the contest. It's unclear whether the injury will impact his availability against Western Michigan on Sunday, although his ability to play through the injury Friday is certainly encouraging.
