Impact Minott took over Thursday nights matchup against East Carolina, leading the Tigers to victory by posting a double-double. Entering off the bench, Minott played the most minutes he has all season (31) on his way to his second double-double of the season. The freshman forward was all over the place Thursday, racking up plenty of hustle stats for the Tigers.

Impact After starting the previous five games for the Tigers, Minott was moved to the bench and answered with a career high 18 points. The freshman forward is averaging 6.8 points and 4.1 rebounds in 16.0 minutes.

Impact Minott often flew under the radar in a loaded recruiting class, but he's still a four-star wing with plenty of skill, and he's just starting to show it with his fourth consecutive start. Unfortunately for the Tigers, Minott was ejected in the second half for leaving the bench during an altercation. He still put up a very respectable box score prior to the departure, but fantasy managers are forced to wonder what could have been. Minott stands to eventually lose some playing time once players like Landers Nolley (knee) and DeAndre Williams (back)return, but as long as they are sidelined, continue to ride the hot streak.

Impact Minott was active on the glass for the Tigers in his first career start, hauling in a season-high 11 rebounds. Minott fouled out after playing 33 minutes, but Memphis still managed to win the game. Memphis is very thin at the Forward position with injuries so Minott should continue to see a heavy workload.

The end result was his most productive game since Nov. 16, though he still hasn't been consistent enough statistically to hit the fantasy radar. However, that might be exactly what this Memphis team from its four-star freshman forward, as tensions in the locker room have apparently been high over the recent three-game losing streak. According to Steven Johnson of the Daily Memphian, Minott appears more than ready to sacrifice both his body and minutes for the good of the team, which is a breath of fresh air considering how things have been going.
