Out for season Ojianwuna (knee) will have season-ending knee surgery, per the team's official X account.

Impact Ojianwuna suffered a knee injury during Saturday's game against UCF and will require season-ending surgery. The junior big man had been a solid contributor for the Bears this season, averaging 7.4 points and 6.4 rebounds per game through 23 contests as the starting center. With Ojianwuna out for the year, Baylor will likely rely on Norchad Omier and freshman Jason Asemota to platoon down low moving forward.

Impact Ojianwuna saw a season-high 30 minutes while putting up a career-best 14 rebounds after previously posting a high of eight boards earlier this season. The junior center unfortunately didn't contribute much elsewhere, finishing with only three points and failed to record a steal for the first time this season. After reaching double-figures in scoring during three of the first four games this season, he had scored just two points in three-consecutive games leading up to his performance Wednesday.
