Impact Bernard posted yet another efficient performance with a team-high 19 points but it wasn't enough to help UCLA get past Arizona in the Pac-12 championship. He's now reached double figures in all six games since his return to the starting lineup with multiple made threes in every game during that stretch. The senior will be a big part of the Bruins upcoming tournament run as the team's third scoring option behind Johnny Juzang and Jaime Jaquez.

Impact Bernard will start for the second-straight game after coming off the bench for the first time all season against Oregon last Thursday. Bernard will start in place of Johnny Juzang as well who appears to be out for back-to-back games.

Impact Bernard stepped into the starting five in place of an injured Johnny Juzang (ankle), which could very well end up being the case again Monday against Washington, as Juzang is reportedly doubtful for the contest. Bernard had seemingly lost his starting job recently to sophomore Jaylen Clark, but there may be room for both as long as Juzang is sidelined. The Bruins are unfortunately out of the running for a Pac-12 regular season title, sitting at 2.5 games back with just two regular season contests remaining. Still, this is a team that, when healthy, is more than capable of making a deep tournament run.
