Impact Coach Chris Holtmann said last week that he wasn't sure whether Sueing would be available to begin the regular season, but the power forward will be able to play through the ankle issue that sidelined him for the Buckeyes' exhibition last week. Sueing missed most of last season due to an abdominal injury but averaged 10.7 points and 5.5 rebounds in 28.2 minutes per game while serving exclusively as a starter during the 2020-21 season.

Impact For context, this was reported around the same time that teammate Seth Towns (back) was ruled out for the season, so the significance here is that the same can't be said for Sueing just yet. The senior hasn't played since Nov. 12 due to an abdominal injury, but whether or not he's able to contribute this year, Sueing could always elect to return for a fifth season in 2022-23. The 6-7 forward has already proven to be a key contributor for the program, as he started 31 games last season and provided 10.7 points and 5.5 rebounds.
