Leaning towards redshirt Craft, who has yet to appear in a game this season for Xavier, as been leaning towards a medical redshirt for most of the year following offseason knee surgery, SB Nation reports.

Impact Craft was one of the few returning players Xavier had this season, although he was merely a role player a year ago, logging just 2.6 points and 1.5 rebounds across 6.7 minutes (in 15 appearances off the bench). The 6-6 sophomore has apparently been medically cleared following summer knee surgery, but he did miss significant practice time, putting him at a disadvantage in terms of attempting to compete for a rotation spot. Considering he has yet to return -- which could jeopardize his redshirt eligibility -- the redshirt seems to be the most likely course of action for the 2023-24 season.

Available against Kennesaw State Craft (knee) will be available during Xavier's game Thursday against Kennesaw State, according to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports.

Impact Though unlikely to play if both teams play a close game, Craft could log his first game since Feb. 10. It will be the first time he is eligible to play since that date, when he logged his first DNP because of the knee injury that forced him out more than a month.
