Retreating back to bench Harris will head back to the bench for Saturday's game against Oklahoma after receiving a spot start Tuesday for Marcus Garrett, Scott Chasen of 247Sports.com reports.

Impact Harris got the first start of his career Wednesday in place of Marcus Garrett who was out with a head injury. Harris had his best game of the year, scoring 7 points (3-5 FG, 0-0 3PT) to go along with seven assists and two rebounds in 29 minutes. He'll head back to the bench with Garett's return but should have gained some trust from head coach Bill Self to get some more playing time.

Set to return against Oklahoma Garrett (head) will play Saturday against Oklahoma, according to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports.

Impact Coach Bill Self said he was "hopeful" of Garrett being available for Saturday's clash, and that will indeed be the case. He went through a full practice Friday, and that would seem to indicate he won't have any sort of limitations against the Sooners. He is averaging 9.1 points and 4.6 rebounds per game in 2020-21.

Impact Getting the nod in place of Marcus Garrett (head), Harris kept his cool and led the offense to a decisive victory against a team that is now 2-2 in the Big 12. Harris may have been the only starter to not score in double figures, but his role as a distributor made him a more-than-suitable replacement for Garrett, at least on this night. It will be exactly one week between games for Garrett when the Jayhawks host Oklahoma on Saturday, so Harris may be back to a reserve role at that time.

Leads way in blowout McCormack had a team-high 20 points (7-9 FG, 6-6 FT) to go along with eight rebounds and two blocks across 23 minutes in Tuesday's 93-64 victory over TCU.

Impact McCormack flashed what he's capable of on a per-minute basis by putting up his second career 20-point game and staying out of foul trouble. Arguably more impressive were his efforts on the defensive end, as he and fellow center Mitch Lightfoot combined to limit star TCU center Kevin Samuel to just eight points and zero rebounds in 18 minutes. Replacing Udoka Azubuike is no easy task, but the 6-10 McCormack certainly did his best impression Tuesday.

19 points despite hamstring trouble Agbaji had 19 points (7-12 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT) to go along with three rebounds and three assists across 31 minutes in Tuesday's 93-64 victory over TCU.

Impact Fantasy players got a scare in the minutes leading up to tipoff, as it was revealed that Agbaji was dealing with a hamstring injury but was going to try and play through it. A glance at the box score offered little indication an injury was in play, as the junior put up his second-highest scoring total of the season. The volume here has been incredibly consistent, as he's taken double-digit shots in five consecutive games and scored in double figures in all but one game this season. There will continue to be more shots available in the immediate future for as long as the duration of Marcus Garrett's (head) absence extends.

All-around effort for Jayhawks Wilson had 16 points (5-10 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 5-8 FT), eight rebounds and six assists across 35 minutes in Tuesday's 93-64 victory over TCU.

Impact With point guard Marcus Garrett (head) ruled out, Wilson took on more of the distributing alongside freshman Dajuan Harris, who also chipped in six assists. While David McCormack led the way in scoring with 20 points, Wilson continues to be the best all-around fantasy asset for the Jayhawks. Despite some tough matchups, Wilson has produced 16 or more points and seven or more rebounds in each of his last three contests.
