Impact Grant-Foster stepped up for the Jayhawks and provided some really important minutes in what turned out to be a close win over North Dakota State. Coach Bill Self decided to go small once again, allowing Grant-Foster to play 22 minutes to center David McCormack's 13 minutes. Dajuan Harris and Bryce Thompson had played more minutes than Grant-Foster in the first few games this season, but we'll see if that changes at all going forward.

Quiet start to the season Garrett had five points (2-5 FG, 1-3 3Pt), five assists, four rebounds, one block, and a steal in the win over Washburn on Thursday.
Impact Garrett is now averaging 10.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 1.5 steals through the first four games of the season. That isn't bad at all, but it's not what we expected from the preseason All-American. Garrett has been dealing with a non-COVID-19 related illness this season, which has led to some fatigue and breathing issues. The 6-5 senior will continue to play through that it appears and hopefully will be able to get back to 100 percent sooner rather than later. Better lines are ahead for Garrett.

Contributing well on glass Braun notched nine points (3-7 FG, 3-5 3Pt), five rebounds, two assists, and a steal in the win over Washburn on Thursday.
Impact Braun has been slightly inconsistent scoring-wise, as he put up 30 points in a game against St. Joseph's, but failed to crack double figures in any of the other three contests so far this season. Where the 6-6 guard has impressed has been on the glass. Braun notched 13 rebounds earlier this week against Kentucky and is averaging 7.3 boards per contest on the season. With coach Bill Self electing to go small quite a bit this season, Braun will be relied upon more to contribute on the glass going forward it appears. He is also shooting 50 percent from three-point range early in the season. Kansas will take on North Dakota State on Saturday.

16 points in rout Agbaji tallied 16 points (5-9 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, one assist, and a steal in an 89-54 win over Washburn on Thursday.
Impact Agbaji has been a consistent scorer for the Jayhawks through the first four games, averaging 17.0 points and 2.8 three-pointers per contest. The 6-5 junior is also shooting over 45 percent from behind the arc. Agbaji should continue to play a high volume of minutes the entire season and will be relied upon to score and be a threat for the perimeter if Kansas wants to reach their full potential.

Impact Washburn didn't have the size to match up with McCormack and he was able to do just about anything he wanted in only 18 minutes of action. McCormack is averaging 10.0 points and 5.0 rebounds per game through the first four contests of the season. Coach Bill Self has elected to go small at times this season, which is a big part of the reason why McCormack hasn't played more than 20 minutes this season. He should continue to start going forward, however.

Leads team against Kentucky Wilson had 23 points (8-16 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 5-8 FT) to go along with 10 rebounds across 31 minutes in Tuesday's 65-62 victory over Kentucky.
Impact There have been questions about the fifth starter for Kansas throughout the offseason, but Wilson appears to have done enough to earn this role. He began the year as a starter for the opener against Gonzaga and put up 11 points in 22 minutes in the 12-point loss. Bill Self then elected to start Bryce Thompson over Wilson in the second game of the year against St. Joseph's, but Wilson impressed with 14 points, nine rebounds and three assists off the bench. Wilson was back in the starting five for an all-important matchup against Kentucky, and the freshman answered with his first career double-double. There were even long stretches in the second half where Wilson was the only Jayhawk player to find the basket, especially with Marcus Garrett limited due to illness. Thompson may be the higher-rated recruit on paper, but Wilson has definitely outplayed him through three contests.
