Remy Martin - Could miss week or twoMartin (knee) is out indefinitely for the near future, Gary Bedore of the Kansas City Star reports.
ImpactThe guard has been dealing with a bone bruise in right knee for several weeks, ultimately leading to him being inactive for Tuesday's 70-61 victory over Iowa St. Coach Bill Self said that the team will sit him for a bit and it's possible his absence could be a week or two potentially. In Martin's absence, Dejuan Harris will likely handle most of the ball-handling.

Gabe Kalscheur - Scores 11 in loss to KUKalscheur ended Tuesday's 70-61 loss to Kansas with 11 points (5-9 FG, 1-5 3Pt) and four rebounds over 28 minutes.
ImpactKalscheur snapped a streak of four games in which he failed to crack double figures. The Minnesota transfer has flashed scoring potential at times this season, but he is just not that consistent or efficient. That will need to change if Iowa State wants to reach their potential.

Izaiah Brockington - 24 points not enoughBrockington closed with 24 points (11-28 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), eight rebounds, three assists and three steals across 36 minutes during Tuesday's 70-61 loss to Kansas.
ImpactIowa State's fate was going to be determined by how many buckets Brockington was able to put in on Tuesday, as their offense was stagnant for much of the game. Brockington ended up jacking up 28 shots in this contest, but only made 11 of them. The Cyclones need to find a secondary scorer if they are going to try to finish in the top half of the Big 12 this season.

Joseph Yesufu - Impresses off benchYesufu produced seven points (2-7 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, four assists and three steals over 23 minutes during Tuesday's 70-61 victory over Iowa State.
ImpactThis was easily Yesufu's best game in a Kansas uniform. The Jayhawks were shorthanded in the backcourt with both Ochai Agbaji and Remy Martin not available. Jalen Coleman-Lands got the start, but coach Bill Self road Yesufu in the second half who really changed the game. Even when Kansas gets healthier, Yesufu will probably get a bigger piece of the rotation that he did earlier due to his speed and defense he showed against Iowa State.

Dajuan Harris - Eight assists to help KU to winHarris finished with 14 points (6-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-3 FT), two rebounds, eight assists and four steals in 38 minutes during Tuesday's 70-61 win over Iowa State.
ImpactHarris was really the MVP of this game for Kansas. He was asked to run offense more than usual with both Ocahi Agbaji and Remy Martin out of the contest. Harris ended up tying season highs in scoring and steals and setting a new season high with his eight assists. If Kansas is shorthanded again on Saturday against Baylor, Harris will have his work cut out for him against an elite backcourt.

Christian Braun - Helps Kansas to road winBraun ended with 13 points (5-13 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-3 FT), three rebounds, one assist, one block and two steals across 37 minutes during Tuesday's 70-61 win over Iowa State.
ImpactBraun was one of the Jayhawks that needed to step out with both Ochai Agbaji and Remy Martin out of this contest. Braun was able to contribute across the board yet again. The rising junior is averaging 13.4 points, 4.2 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 1.4 three-pointers over the last five games.

Jalen Wilson - 13 points against CyclonesWilson totaled 13 points (5-8 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-3 FT), six rebounds, four assists and two steals across 36 minutes during Tuesday's 70-61 victory over Iowa State.
ImpactWilson had a nice all-around game in a big road win for Kansas who was without leading scorer Ochai Agbaji due to COVID-19 protocols. Wilson has now started the last eight games and during that stretch is putting up 13.6 points, 6.9 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.5 three-pointers, and 1.3 steals per contest. He will look to help the Jayhawks protect home court on Saturday against Baylor.
