Kevin McCullar - Puts in the workMcCullar recorded 16 points (5-10 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 3-4 FT), six rebounds, five assists and one steal across 37 minutes during Wednesday's 65-60 loss to UCF.ImpactMcCullar is not the best player on Kansas as that is a title that continues to belong to Hunter Dickinson. However, McCullar has arguably been their most consistent player all season and he was clearly the best Jayhawk on the court Wednesday, leading the team in scoring while posting five assists and six boards. The Big 12 is as deep this season as it has ever been and while Kansas is competing at the top, one concern is their relative lack of depth. McCullar has averaged 34.5 minutes per contest, a number that creeps up to 36.9 in games decided by less than 10 points. A concern moving forward could be Kansas wearing out its star players if that trend continues.
