Impact Bradford had been out for the last 10 days as he battled a non-COVID related illness. It may take some time for the big man to get his feet back under him, which is why it's unlikely that he suits up this first week. Bradford has an opportunity to put together a big year, however, and help get Kansas State out of the basement of the Big 12.

Ismael Massoud - Starting Thursday's exhibition Massoud is in the starting lineup for Thursday's exhibition game against Pittsburgh State.
Impact Massoud is in his first year with the Wildcats after transferring over from Wake Forest, at which he made just eight starts last year and averaged 8.3 points and 3.4 rebounds in 21.7 minutes per game. The 6-9 sophomore could have a shot at cracking the starting unit to begin the season based on the group head coach Bruce Weber rolled out for Thursday's contest.

Davion Bradford - Dealing with illness Bradford is dealing with a non-COVID related illness, Kellis Robinett of the Wichita Eagle reports.
Impact Bradford will not play in the team's exhibition game this week according to head coach Bruce Weber. It doesn't appear like his status for the season-opener against Florida A&M on Nov. 10 is in question, but that might chance depending on how Bradford comes back from the illness. Kaosi Ezeagu will get the start at center in Bradford's place for the exhibition contest.

Maximus Edwards - Set to miss time Head coach Bruce Weber said that Edwards re-aggravated an injury and will miss some time, Kellis Robinett of the Wichita Eagle reports.
Impact Edwards is expected to miss some regular season games. It's unclear how much of a factor in the rotation the freshman will be once he does get healthy, as Kansas State does have a bit of a new look in 2021-22.

Seryee Lewis - Won't play in 2021-22 Coach Bruce Weber revealed Thursday that Lewis "suffered a severe injury" this fall that will cost him all of the 2021-22 season, Kellis Robinett of the Wichita Eagle reports.
Impact Lewis wasn't a major contributor for the Wildcats last year but did average 5.3 minutes per game off the bench and figured to be part of the bench rotation again this year. Instead, he will now turn his focus toward rehabbing and getting healthy ahead of the 2022-23 season.
