First career double-double Gordon had a team-high 15 points (2-8 FG, -4 3Pt, 11-11 FT) to go along with 11 rebounds and a steal across 39 minutes in Tuesday's victory over Iowa State. Impact The Wildcats are dealing with multiple injuries in the frontcourt that have rendered both Montavious Murphy (undisclosed) and Kaosi Ezeagu (knee) unavailable, so there are plenty of opportunities for increased production on the glass. While Gordon is far from a stereotypical big as a 6-4 wing, the sophomore answered the call in Tuesday's upset victory. He did haul in nine boards in a game earlier this season, so this excellent performance wasn't completely out of the blue. Gordon is now the team's leading rebounder at 6.0 rpg, putting him firmly on the radar in Big 12-only leagues. He's also now one of three Kansas State players averaging double figures, joining Mike McGuirl (13.4 ppg) and Nijel Pack (10.0 ppg).
