Aly Khalifa - Posts six assists in returnKhalifa accumulated eight points (3-7 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 0-1 FT), two rebounds and six assists over 20 minutes during Saturday's 72-66 win over Kansas State.
ImpactKhalifa's return after two missed games due to an illness moved Fousseyni Traore back to the bench. The two split time evenly, each playing 20 minutes and while Traore maintained his run of great play, Khalifa didn't miss a beat, contributing a couple of threes on his way to eight points while adding six assists. Khalifa is one of the best passing big men in the country, ranking second on BYU in assists and 11th in the Big 12 conference, one of just two non-guards in the conference (KJ Adams) to average more than 3 assists per game. Khalifa has posted at least three assists in all but two of 18 games played, averaging 4.4 helpers per game along with 5.9 points and 4.3 boards in 20.2 minutes per game.

Traore had a slow return after missing seven games due to a hamstring issue, but he's found his footing over the last four, starting two of those games and producing 18.8 points, 7.0 rebounds and 1.5 blocks on 63.8% shooting over 24.3 minutes per game

ImpactJohnson put together another solid effort for the well-balanced Cougars, who had five players reach double figures on the night. The senior guard is averaging career-highs across the board for a BYU team that's showing themselves well in their first season in the Big 12. For the season, he's contributing 11.2 points, 5.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists. though his shooting percentages are actually at a career-low pace, shooting just 42.4% from the floor and 30.8% from three after shooting 46.1% last year from behind the arc.

ImpactKaluma's 18 points are the most he's scored in a game since Jan. 20, though outside of one blip, he's maintained consistent production throughout conference play. The Wildcats have hit a rough patch, losing five of six, but Kaluma has done his part to keep the team afloat. In 11 conference games, Kaluma is playing 34.2 minutes per game, averaging 13.8 points, 5.6 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 1.2 steals and 0.6 blocks
