MJ Rice - DNP with back injury TuesdayKansas coach Bill Self said postgame that Rice did not play in Tuesday's 90-78 loss to Kansas State, Michael Swain of 247Sports.com reports.
ImpactRice has averaged 7.6 minutes across 14 appearances this season. He also totaled just 12 minutes across the Jayhawks' previous three contests, so it's unlikely he would have seen much usage, if at all, had he been healthy Tuesday. Rice's next chance to suit up will come versus Iowa State on Saturday.

Keyontae Johnson - Tallies another double-doubleJohnson logged 22 points (7-19 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 6-7 FT) and 12 rebounds in 36 minutes during Tuesday's 90-78 loss to Kansas.
ImpactJohnson remained red hot on offense despite this frustrating performance for the Wildcats. The 6-foot-6 senior also matched his season high for rebounds -- all of which came on the defensive glass. Therefore, he was able to string together his fourth consecutive double-double, and he now has six such outings this season. Johnson will look to continue this prolific stretch Saturday against Texas.

Markquis Nowell - Saved by FT line in lossNowell finished Tuesday's 90-78 loss to Kansas with 23 points (5-18 FG, 3-11 3Pt, 10-11 FT), three rebounds, four assists and two steals over 39 minutes.
ImpactNowell posted one of his least-efficient scoring performances of the season in this commanding win for the Jayhawks. The prolific point guard was able to salvage this poor outing by getting to the charity stripe, as he's now attempted at least 10 free-throw attempts in five of the last 10 games. Nowell's extremely high scoring (17.1) and assist (8.0) averages still make him one of the most valuable fantasy players in the Big 12.

Dajuan Harris - Comes to life in win over rivalHarris ended with 18 points (7-12 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 2-4 FT), two assists and one block across 34 minutes during Tuesday's 90-78 win over Kansas State.
ImpactHarris tied his season high for points to break his rough stretch of scoring over the last five games (2.6). Conversely, the junior point guard came well short of his usual impact as a field general, matching his fewest assists in any game this season. Harris has still averaged 6.3 assists per game this season, so it's fair to assume Tuesday's low minimal output was merely a blip in his production. It's worth considering Harris in the majority of fantasy lineups so long as he merely maintains his relatively modest scoring average on the season (7.7).
