Opting out of remainder of season McGee announced via Twitter that he is opting out of the remainder of the 2020-21 season.

Impact New Mexico's basketball team was possible looking at being relocated and that was the biggest reason why McGee decided to opt out of the season. The senior was averaging 5.9 points per game, but will be able to come back to New Mexico next season if he chooses.
