That's left Ware, a 7-1 freshman, to be forced to play more power forward. It's a skillset that will undoubtedly be useful for his future development, but with Oregon having an opportunity to climb within 1.5 games of the Pac-12 lead, Altman simply selected to go with the safer and more experienced option off the bench.
