Impact Foster missed the first two games of the season while in COVID protocol, and while he didn't start the contest, he finished as the team's most efficient producer. Foster started six of 32 possible games last year for the Cowboys, and while it's logical to think he'll eventually take over at shooting guard for Drake Jeffries, it seems as if his production won't be affected much either way.

In COVID protocol Foster did not play in Saturday's opener against Mississippi Valley State Delta due to COVID-19 protocol, Davis Potter of the Casper Star-Tribune reports.
Impact It's unclear if Foster tested positive or is simply sitting due to contact tracing rules. In any case, he should be considered a game-time call at best for Monday's scheduled matchup against Texas Southern. If he sits again, look for Drake Jeffries and Xavier DuSell to be relied on more at the wings.
