Impact Johnson entered Saturday's game connecting on just 31.6 of 2.1 threes across nine prior contests. His lack of efficiency isn't overly surprising given that he connected on just 26.2 percent of 43 total threes at San Diego State last year, but Johnson teased a 35.7 percent clip from deep throughout Arizona's first 10 games. His overall efficiency of 55.4 percent shooting remains a quality mark.

That changed Saturday with his second-best scoring total of the season, as Arizona improved to 3-1 in Pac-12 play. The fifth-year senior has enjoyed statistical career bests in essentially every counting stat upon the move to the faster-tempo Arizona squad, but his efficiency hasn't suffered as a result, as his 57.5 percent mark from the field and 35.9 percent success rate from distance both represent career highs as well.

Impact The move to a faster-paced offense at Arizona continues to work wonders for Johnson's fantasy value, as he's improved his scoring and rebounding averages to 13.9 and 7.0, respectively, all while shooting a career-best 56.8 percent from the field. He's also converting a career-best 34.6 percent from distance and 80.0 percent from the charity stripe. Don't expect the production to slow down much in advance of conference play, as the Pac-12 opponents he'll face will often be weaker defensively than the incredibly-difficult non-conference schedule Arizona booked to start 2023-24.

Impact Much of Johnson's real-life value is derived from his stellar contributions on the defensive end, but the San Diego State transfer appears to have turned a corner offensively now that he's playing for an Arizona team that operates at a much faster pace. The fifth-year senior has posted double-digit scoring in all six games to begin the year, and he's also averaging a career-best 7.0 rpg after recording his first double-double of the year Thursday in the Acrisure Classic. Looking ahead, the only downside for fantasy managers rostering Wildcats is that Arizona has a long break ahead, as the team's next game isn't until Dec. 2 against Colgate.

Impact Granted, Arizona was down two projected key players in Pelle Larsson and Oumar Ballo due to undisclosed injuries, but it was certainly noteworthy that Johnson drew the start, in addition to finishing second on the team in both points and minutes played. Johnson averaged 7.7 points and 5.0 rebounds last season as a full-time starter for an Aztecs team that made a run to the National Title game, and while the competition will presumably get a bit tougher upon the move to a power conference, he'll also get a significant tempo boost with Arizona, which should lead to more opportunities for counting stats. He's a fantasy sleeper worth keeping an eye on when Arizona plays its second exhibition contest Monday against New Mexico Highlands.
