Active Saturday Menifield (groin) will be available during Saturday's showdown with Kentucky, Anthony Kristensen of Sports Illustrated reports.

Impact Menifield will make his return to the court on Saturday after missing the last three games with a groin injury. The 6-foot-1 sophomore has appeared in 14 games this season (four starts), averaging 7.9 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.6 assists on 19.4 minutes per game.

DNP vs. Vanderbilt Menifield (groin) did not play during Arkansas' game Tuesday against Vanderbilt.

Impact Menifield logged his third consecutive DNP, enough for him to sit out Arkansas' last three games of February. Arkansas' team is expected to begin its March schedule by playing at Kentucky on Saturday.

Impact Menifield was dressed but didn't play in the win over Missouri, so perhaps the extra days of rest benefited him. He's averaging just 7.9 points and 2.1 rebounds per game as a bench alternative for Arkansas this season.

Healthy scratch Saturday Menifield did not play in Saturday's 63-57 loss to Kentucky due to a coach's decision, Trey Biddy of HawgSports.com reports.

Impact 20 games into the season, coach Eric Musselman is still looking for an answer at point guard, and his .500 Arkansas team has fallen to a dismal 1-6 in SEC play -- currently putting them on the outside looking in with respect to the NCAA Tournament. Menifield has been one option that has picked up a few starts, but over his last five games, he's shooting a woeful 22.7 percent from the field and averaging less than one assist per contest, which clearly isn't cutting it. Neither is the effort from the likes of El Ellis and Layden Blocker, however, so Menifield could factor back into the mix sooner rather than later.

Impact After starting in the Razorback's most recent three games, Menifield will be moved to the bench with Jeremiah Davenport taking the start for Saturday's conference matchup. The sophomore guard averages 11.8 points and 3.2 rebounds in just five games after originally planning to redshirt this season.

Role expanding for Razorbacks Menifield accumulated 14 points (5-15 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 0-3 FT), three rebounds, four assists and one steal in 31 minutes during Saturday's 83-51 loss to Auburn.

Impact Menifield recently gained eligibility clearance and has been ramping up his production ever since his Dec. 16 season debut. He made his first start of the season Dec. 30 against UNC-Wilmington and responded with a career-high 32 points, going 13-for-17 from the charity stripe in that contest. The sophomore guard remained in the starting lineup for Saturday's SEC opener, and while he didn't see the same success from the field, it was still a productive day for fantasy managers who took a chance on his high usage continuing. Menifield is certainly a player worth watching -- and potentially adding -- should this pattern hold.
