Starts, plays 17 minutes Johnson (chest) logged eight points (3-4 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-4 FT), six rebounds and two steals across 17 minutes during Kansas State's exhibition win Tuesday versus Washburn. Impact Johnson's latest effort potentially indicates how the Wildcats will use him across their 2022-23 season, which is a great sign considering he found himself in the starting five. Heart inflammation prevented Johnson from playing most of the past two seasons, but it appears he's received the proper clearance and is officially back. Johnson had been getting looked at as a first-round NBA Draft Pick prior to his health scare, and if he can get anywhere near the 14.1 ppg and 7.1 rpg he averaged with Florida in 2019-20, it would be an incredible comeback story for the 6-6 wing. He'd be not only a major asset for the Wildcats, but for fantasy managers as well.
