Excelling in bench role Lewis chipped in 21 points (9-13 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, four assists, one block and two steals across 26 minutes during Tuesday's 75-56 victory over West Virginia.
Impact Lewis came off the bench, supplying his best performance of the season in draining 69.2-percent of his 13 shots en route to a team-leading 21-point performance. Lewis began the year in the starting five but after six games was moved to the bench. Since that transition, he's actually seen a small uptick in minutes from 25.0 to 26.0 and has increased his scoring efficiency, shooting 59.3-percent in eight games off the bench after shooting just 40.4-percent in a starting role. In total, the sophomore wing is averaging 11.5 points, 3.9 boards, 3.4 assists, 1.4 steals and 0.5 blocks since moving into his new role.

Impact Lewis put together his best all-around performance of the sesaon Saturday, filling the box score by matching a season high with 15 points, setting a new mark with five assists while adding eight boards and a couple of steals. The sophomore has come off the bench over the past two games after starting the first six. Lewis struggled to the tune of a 2-10 shooting output during Arizona's two-game run in the Bahamas last week but since returning stateside, has responded to his demotion to the bench by shooting 10-13 (76.9 percent) over the last two games.
