Leaving Buffalo Mading has entered the NCAA transfer portal, VerbalCommits.com reports.

Impact Mading will look for additional opportunities with a new program this season after spending two seasons with Buffalo. The 6-foot-9 sophomore appeared in six games this season, averaging 4.5 points, 2.2 rebounds and 0.8 blocks on 7.2 minutes per game.

Plays 11 minutes in exhibition Mading totaled four points (2-4 FG, 0-1 3Pt), a rebound, a block and a steal in 11 minutes during a scrimmage against Daemen on Oct. 30.

Impact Mading dealt with an undisclosed injury last year but should be healthy to begin the 2022-23 campaign. He appeared in just seven games last year and seems unlikely to play a significant role for Buffalo this year.

Impact Mading (undisclosed) is yet another player for Buffalo who will miss the game against Bowling Green. Mading has missed over half of Buffalo's games and may be missing a game in which he had a chance to play significant minutes.
