ImpactMcConnell had started the first four games of the season before coming off the bench Monday. He still ended up playing 22 minutes and had four rebounds, two steals, one assist, and a block. It's unclear if he will continue to come off the bench going forward.

Clifford Omoruyi - Nearly records double-doubleOmoruyi contributed 14 points (5-7 FG, 4-6 FT), nine rebounds, three blocks and two steals in 34 minutes during Monday's 53-51 loss to Lafayette.

ImpactOmoruyi was quite efficient from the floor in Monday's loss and led the Scarlet Knights on the scoreboard in spite of a modest shot volume. Although he paced the team on the boards, he came one rebound short of his third career double-double. However, the sophomore has scored in double figures in four of the first five games of the season and has averaged 11.4 points and 7.6 rebounds in 26.8 minutes per contest.

Geo Baker - Leaves game with leg injuryBaker left Monday's loss to UL-Lafayette with a leg injury and did not return, NJ.com reports.

ImpactIt's unclear how serious this injury is yet. The team does have until Saturday for their next game against UMass, so that will give Baker some time to get treatment. Jalen Miller and Aundre Hyatt would be two options to see more action if Baker is forced to miss time.
