ImpactWilkinson's minutes have been wildly inconsistent all season, but he had at least made an appearance in all 11 prior contests. The senior even started three of the last four games for the Tigers, with his most recent appearance being a scoreless one in 12 minutes last Saturday against Texas. In fact, that was his fourth time held scoreless in LSU's last five games, though offense has admittedly never been a strong suit for Wilkinson. Nonetheless, his absence, without explanation, is noteworthy. Jalen Cook entered the starting lineup in his stead as part of a realignment, and while the two players' roles aren't directly correlated, Cook's heavy minutes demand will mean less overall to go around.
